Product Grading & Condition
Our grading guide offers you complete transparency on the condition of our refurbished products. Each device is carefully inspected and classified according to strict criteria, ranging from aesthetics to technical performance.
A+Grade A+
Devices are almost spotless, on every area. This matches the grade "Perfect condition" on most of the marketplaces.
Screen
A very small defect (almost unnoticeable for the eyes) can be present.
Frame
A very small defect (almost unnoticeable for the eyes) can be present.
Backglass
A very small defect (almost unnoticeable for the eyes) can be present.
AGrade A
Devices have very light signs of wear. This matches the grade "Very good condition" of most of the marketplaces.
Screen
A few hairline scratches are allowed, clusters of scratches are not allowed.
Frame
A few hairline scratches or pinpoint-sized marks are allowed, no dents are allowed.
Backglass
A few hairline scratches are allowed as well as a few small marks.
B+Grade B+
Devices have normal signs of wear. This matches the grade “Good condition” on most of the marketplaces.
Screen
A few small deep scratches are allowed. (< 0.5cm) & Clusters of hairline scratches are allowed.
Frame
A few light dents are allowed & Few pinpoint-sized marks are allowed. OR 1 heavy dent is allowed
Backglass
A few small deep scratches are allowed. (< 0.5cm) Cluster of very small scratches on the edges are allowed.
BGrade B
Devices have pronounced signs of wear
Screen
Small deep scratches are allowed. (< 0.5cm) & Large clusters of hairline scratches are allowed.
Frame
Light dents are allowed & Pinpoint-sized marks are allowed. OR A few heavy dent are allowed
Backglass
Deep scratches are allowed. (> 0.5cm) Cluster of very small scratches on the edges are allowed. Marks are allowed.
CGrade C
Devices have very pronounced signs of wear
Screen
All types of scratches are allowed (even 1 large heavy scratch is considered as a C grade)
Frame
A lot of heavy dents are allowed
Backglass
Scratches and marks are allowed
ZGrade Z
Devices have a broken part. They are perfect for refurbishing purposes.
Screen
A small or large crack can be present
Frame
The device can be bent, or the antennas can be broken.
Backglass
A small or large crack can be present (including on the camera lens)
Our Reliable Assessment Policy
Cleaning the Device
The first step in our quality control is to clean the device to ensure that you receive a cosmetically acceptable condition and to ensure that the grading is not polluted by dirt.
Device Check
Next, we check all the defects in the device. They are classified by frequency (i.e. how many scratches on the display) and severity. This process is carried out using established measures.
Enforce the policy without compromise
Depending on what is found after checking the whole appliance, a grading is given. The grading is explained in more detail in the document below.
